The Gap No One Talks About

Your last child has left home. Your grandchildren are growing up so fast - and they're scattered across different cities, living their busy lives. And Mom or Dad? They're at home or in a care facility, wondering what everyone's up to, feeling the distance. You love your family deeply, but between work, grandkids' schedules, and life's demands, staying truly connected feels overwhelming. There's a gap - one nobody talks about - where families who love each other still feel far apart. Letters to Grandma bridges that gap, turning everyday texts from your family into a beautiful monthly newsletter that arrives in everyone's mailbox and phone, keeping your whole family in the loop and feeling close.

It's as Simple as a Text

Family members simply text their updates and photos to one phone number throughout the month - nothing more. Our system automatically combines those moments into a gorgeous, professionally designed newsletter. Every month, it's printed in full color and mailed straight to your loved ones' mailboxes. Your elderly parents or grandparents don't need a smartphone, internet, or any tech skills. They just open their mailbox and hold their whole family in their hands. No confusion. No barriers. Just pure connection.

What Our Customers Say

With hundreds of letters already delivered to homes across the country, hear from the people who love Letters to Grandma.

As a grandmother of eight very young children, Letters to Grandma warms my heart when it arrives. I see pictures and read cute stories from all of them! It brings all our children and grandchildren together as we share funny and quirky family stories. I'm so grateful to share highlights and big news and events, but even more I love to share the little milestones along the way!

Grandmother

After years of saying "keep in touch" and "see you soon," Letters to Grandma made staying connected to my family an actual reality. Reading stories and seeing pictures about my family in a nostalgic newspaper format has been very enjoyable and helps us to have better conversations and have more fun when my family gets together. Super quick and easy to use. Thank you Letters to Grandma - you absolutely "mailed" it!

Letters to Grandma has done something incredible. It's created a space where we all share precious little day-to-day tidbits we would otherwise miss! We already text here and there, but this does something different. Reading about my sister taking her children to the park, and then showing it to my own kids, without ANY screens, is a special family magic I didn't even know we'd been missing!

Everything You Need to Know Before You Start

Real answers to the questions that matter most.

What if my family won't text or participate much?

Even one or two texters create something beautiful. Many of our most-loved newsletters come from just a handful of contributors - and the people receiving them don't know the difference. They just feel remembered and loved. In our experience, the first few months of newsletters in the mailbox have gotten family members texting more than most of our customers' families initially believed possible!Additionally, we do send out a reminder text message to family members a few days before the newsletter is printed, to encourage any last-minute additions to the newsletter.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely, with zero penalties or long-term commitments. We want to earn your trust month by month. Cancel anytime and you'll receive one final newsletter to complete your month - no surprise charges, ever.

What does the newsletter actually look like?

It's a stunning, professionally designed full-color publication in newspaper style, featuring family stories, photos, and important dates - all created automatically from your family's texts. You'll receive it as a printed copy in the mail, via text message, and on your private family website.

Is my family's information really private?

100% private and completely secure. Only approved family members you invite can access messages, photos, and newsletters. Your online version is password-protected, and we never share your information with outsiders or use it for marketing.

Do I have to make edits and design choices myself?

Not at all - we handle everything automatically for you. You set it up once and watch as beautiful newsletters arrive every month with zero design effort required.

Do elderly family members need to do anything to receive it?

Not a thing. They don't need a smartphone, email, or internet connection. A beautiful printed newsletter arrives in their physical mailbox every single month - they just open it and read. Once your newsletter is up and running, you just give us their home address and we'll handle the rest!

What if nothing big is happening in our family?

The best newsletters aren't about big events - they're about small moments. A grandchild's first lost tooth. A Sunday afternoon recipe. A funny thing someone said at dinner. These are exactly the stories elderly parents and grandparents treasure most. Our system turns everyday texts into something beautiful.

When will we receive our first newsletter?

You get to choose! We usually recommend scheduling the first newsletter 2 weeks from now. That gives family members time to send their first messages and photos so the newsletter has a good amount of content.

I'm not very tech-savvy. Is this hard to set up?

If you can send a text message, you can use Letters to Grandma! Setup takes about 5 minutes: you answer a few guided questions and we take care of everything else. No apps, no design work, no technical knowledge required - ever.

Your Family Is Making Memories Right Now. Make Sure Everyone Gets to Share Them.

Your grandchildren are growing up fast. Your aging parents treasure every moment of connection. And you deserve to feel your family close, even when life pulls everyone in different directions. Letters to Grandma is the thread that holds it all together - bringing everyone home, one story at a time.
