Families love it. So does Grandma!

Here's what our customers are saying:

As a grandmother of eight very young children, Letters to Grandma warms my heart when it arrives. I see pictures and read cute stories from all of them! It brings all our children and grandchildren together as we share funny and quirky family stories. I'm so grateful to share highlights and big news and events, but even more I love to share the little milestones along the way!

After years of saying "keep in touch" and "see you soon," Letters to Grandma made staying connected to my family an actual reality. Reading stories and seeing pictures about my family in a nostalgic newspaper format has been very enjoyable and helps us to have better conversations and have more fun when my family gets together. Super quick and easy to use. Thank you Letters to Grandma - you absolutely "mailed" it!

Letters to Grandma has been such a great way to stay connected with my family, especially living far away in Florida while they're in Minnesota. I love that I can simply text updates and photos, and it turns into a beautiful monthly newsletter that keeps grandparents and the whole family feeling close and included.

Letters to Grandma has done something incredible. It's created a space where we all share precious little day-to-day tidbits we would otherwise miss! We already text here and there, but this does something different. Reading about my sister taking her children to the park, and then showing it to my own kids, without ANY screens, is a special family magic I didn't even know we'd been missing!

We live far from my kids' grandparents and cousins, so it's a sincere treat to share our updates and to read about other little moments from the rest of the family! My kids adore seeing pictures of their cousins and we still get to celebrate all the little moments with our family, even from afar. Letters to Grandma is tons of fun for cousins, aunts and uncles too!

How does this work?

You text us stories and photos, and once a month we turn those texts into a beautiful, newspaper-style letter mailed to your choice of addresses!Best of all, this works with unlimited family members, so your entire family can join in the fun! Everyone can text in, and everyone receives the letter.

Let's talk details!

Writing a family letter is a lot of work! What makes Letters to Grandma "easy?"

All the layout, design, and writing work is handled by us! All you and your family have to do is text photos and stories throughout the month. Even a small number of texts can be enough to fill up an entire newsletter! We even combine related stories from multiple family members into larger "feature" stories, just like a newspaper reporter.

How many family members can use this?

Letters to Grandma works with unlimited family members, so everyone can join in the fun! Pictures of your cousins' children, running jokes about your uncle's precarious inventions, and throwback tales of the "good old days" when everyone was younger. As the account holder, you have control over who can contribute to the newsletter; all the phone numbers you approve are allowed to participate.

Do all of us receive the newsletter each month?

Your account comes with x2 printed copies mailed to your choice of addresses, and unlimited digital copies (texted or emailed) for everyone else. Additional printed copies are available for $6.99/copy, and can be bought by anyone in the family. (cost sharing!)We time the digital newsletter delivery to match as closely as possible with mailing arrival dates so the entire family gets the letter close to the same time!

What if we forget to text?

We send reminder texts a few days before your monthly letter is printed, giving everyone a couple days to send their final updates for the month.

What does the newsletter actually look like?

It's a stunning, professionally designed full-color publication in newspaper style, featuring family stories, photos, and important dates - all created automatically from your family's texts. You'll receive it as a printed copy in the mail, via text message, and on your private family website.

Is my family's information private?

100% private and completely secure. Only approved family members you invite can access messages, photos, and newsletters. Your online version is password-protected, and we never share your information with outsiders or use it for marketing.

Do I have to make edits and design choices myself?

Not at all - we handle everything automatically for you. You set it up once and watch as beautiful newsletters arrive every month with zero design effort required.

Do elderly family members need to do anything to receive it?

Not a thing. They don't need a smartphone, email, or internet connection. A beautiful printed newsletter arrives in their physical mailbox every single month - they just open it and read. Once your newsletter is up and running, you just give us their home address and we'll handle the rest!

What if nothing big is happening in our family?

The best newsletters aren't about big events - they're about small moments. A grandchild's first lost tooth. A Sunday afternoon recipe. A funny thing someone said at dinner. These are exactly the stories elderly parents and grandparents treasure most. Our system turns everyday texts into something beautiful.

When will we receive our first newsletter?

You get to choose! We usually recommend scheduling the first newsletter 2 weeks from now. That gives family members time to send their first messages and photos so the newsletter has a good amount of content.

I'm not very tech-savvy. Is this hard to set up?

If you can send a text message, you can use Letters to Grandma! Setup takes about 5 minutes: you answer a few guided questions and we take care of everything else. No apps, no design work, no technical knowledge required - ever.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely, with zero penalties or long-term commitments. We want to earn your trust month by month. Cancel anytime and you'll receive one final newsletter to complete your month - no surprise charges, ever.
